Back in 2013, I engaged Akerman Barkle to put in a new kitchen at my small Buderim townhouse. They did a beautiful job and everyday I still love this space and all the clever drawers and cupboards. I should have asked them to build a large wall unit for me when I did the kitchen but finally got around to having this done earlier this year (2021) and how fabulous it looks. Wayne and his team took a lot of care to measure and install exactly to the space and to help me with design issues. It is floor to ceiling and 3 metres wide with a combination of glass and regular cupboards and drawers. It looks great but also just blends into the background. Visitors say it looks like it's always been there. Akerman Barkle might not give you the cheapest quote but when it come to bespoke solutions that is built to a high standard and with care - they would be hard to beat and you'll be happier in the long run and I speak from experience.. .

Delighted with our new kitchen from Ackerman Barkle. From the first meeting to discuss design to the finished installation it has been a trouble free, easy process. Wayne was always on hand for advice and nothing was too much trouble. The installation team were very friendly and professional and the finished product is just perfect. I'd be happy to recommend them to anyone and they are my go to for any cabinetry requirements in the future. 100% happy with the work.

Our first project with Ackerman Barkle was in 2017. It was a combined built in-home office and TV/entertainment unit. The location in our apartment was very tricky with lots of odd corners etc. We knew what we wanted, but once we started working with Nathan on the design, his suggestions just made it so much better than we had envisaged. Since then, we have used Ackerman for 4 more projects, and been 100% happy with everything. We can’t speak highly enough of the quality of work and professionalism of everyone we have dealt with at Ackerman Barkle. We love working through the design of our projects with Nathan. Nothing is ever a bother for him, and he picks up on and follows through with any little details we mention. The finished product is of an extremely high quality, and the installation process has always gone smoothly thanks to Russell, Nick and Tony. We have our next 2 projects in mind and would not think to go to anyone else to get the work done.
