Very well welcomed and informed, had my passport renew in just 10 minutes. As long as you look it up online first and bring the right paperwork with you it is a quick and easy process. Always surprised by how people just pop in expecting things to be done on the spot and then complaining 😕 Had a 5years long visa/residency process done and never had an issue.

To reajust the bad reviews. I came here to renew my passeport and I had a great experience, helpfuf and understanding people, quick and professional as long as you give what they ask you to prepare in advance. Thanks again.

@Etat civil: Totally frustrated by the French bureaucracy ! I applied for a marriage transcription and provided ABSOLUTELY ALL the documents requested from their online page ("Pieces a fournir" all boxes were ticked), but the application was sent back asking for more documents... Even better, some of these documents were WELL in the the original application! TERRIBLE service!

Awesome service. I've had to use the service of the French Consulate for the renewal of my passport. I have been agreeably suprised with the efficiency and competence of the staff. The lady at the reception went out of her way and patiently took her time to make sure I would be getting what I needed. That is professionalism in my opinion. The lady who processed my passport has also showed some expertise in her field. So thank you so much. I was treated with such respect and courtesy that I felt prompted to write a review. The time it took to process my request from and administrative body government was only 50 minutes. Unheard of. And very pleasing I might add.

Applied for a French Youth Mobility Visa in May/July 2019 as an Australian Citizen. Followed the online forms and checklists, arrived early for my appointment and had all my paperwork and copies ready to go. The appointment took less than 10 minutes and was painless. Surprisingly I received my visa in the mail just over a week after the appointment. Emailed the consulate several times with queries about the visa and received responses with in a week, which I found helpful. Relatively straight forward process and would recommend to any young person looking at getting a European Youth Mobility Visa.
