In a word, OUTSTANDING. David's work is second to none. I have been taking shoes, boots and bags to David for 20 years - for myself, for bosses, for family and friends. He is an absolute perfectionist and a master of his trade.

Doesn’t matter if it’s small job or more delicate - David will always gives my shoes new lease of life!!! Hardly recommend!!!

Overpriced and poor quality cut keys.nnCharged $9 per key cut, didn't do them properly;nnOne set would only go half way because the blank used was longer than the original.nnThe other key sets would catch on the mechanism in the barrel and wouldn't unlock the lock.nnThe quality was rough on inspection.nnAbrupt service - only getting two stars because he refunded me without too much argument.nnWaste of time - just go get your keys cut atnBunnings for 1/3 of the price by a machine.

I tried this place with a pair of shoes that needed the heels re-done, just the small stopper at the end of the stilletto. The price was $25, which I thought was quite reasonable.nWhen I took the shoes in I paid for them upfront, no problem with that. The gentleman behind the counter taped a piece of masking tape to the bottom of one of them and wrote my name and the amount paid on it. He did give me a the EFTPOS receipt for my payment, but nothing else.nnWhen I went to pick the shoes up I told him I was there for a pickup for Jemma, he asked me to just look at the shoes behind the counter and point out which ones were mine. I found them sitting on top of each other which annoyed me, they're nice shoes and stacking them on top of each other is only going make them dirty and scuffed.nnIt wasn't until I got back to my office that I noticed he'd only polished the tips of the shoes - if you're not going to do all of it why bother at all? I also noticed that the new heel ends he put on them were bigger than the size that the heel tapers off to. It hasn't completely ruined the shoe, but it's definitely noticeable.nnSo, overall. Not terribly professional, not a great job on the shoes, but pretty cheap for a city shoe repair and a convenient location. Get what you pay for I guess.
