This school is very good, except for some parts where some students just act like juveniles and the teachers don't really care. The number of bullying cases is very high. But I have enjoyed my experience here so far, making quite a few friends.
Music program is great but overall a pretty average school to be honest.
Viewbank College offers many variations of art, movie, music, science, performing arts, choir and cooking (etc.) clubs and activities, which are great if you love getting involved! The teachers are very nice, and the effort they will go to in order to support any student is incredible. House sports and activities are always a load of fun. They deal well with bullying and students with stress or anxiety; the counsellors are kind and there is a room dedicated to mindfulness, relaxation and wellbeing. Anything you hear or may have heard about older students spitting on, bullying, stealing from or hurting younger students is completely inaccurate. My only concern with the school is the amount of litter and rubbish left around the grounds, although students are encouraged to neaten up the school in order to earn house points. While I am only in year eight at VBSC I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the school. GO IGNIS!

Great School, ignore disgruntled students exaggerating the malevolence of the teachers and staff, they’re amazing!
