I had a terrible experience. I think other staff might be ok. But this lad...Poor body language displayed on approach to me, warned me that is was not going to go well.nI had a very simple request. How to join a mixer tap to a garden hose type fitting.nThe lad had a negative attitude and told me he could not help me because he was not a plumber and didn’t know how I could do this.nnI then asked him about PEX.fittings, to which he replied “you can’t do that, you need a plumber and correct tools which cost $800 to $2000.nnNow a quick search online tells me a PEX toll can be obtained for less than $200.nnI am appalled at the lack of knowledge, but more so, the unwillingness to want to help at all. Not to mention the incorrect info given.nnI actually found a nice fellow (Also a customer) in Bunnings who told me how simple my task was and showed me what to get.nnIt definitely was not rocket science.
