Beenleigh Historical Village & Museum

Easy outing with the kids. Interesting and the grounds are well maintained. One of the buildings was donated by my grandfather, so it was lovely to finally see it in person, and share this with my children.nnMy only feedback is that it would be great if there was more about the Indigenous history of the area. This is equally as important to share.

Went to Tin Cup Cafe with friends. The staff and service were second to none. The food was divine. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend for the whole family. Great history to see, finish the visit with a cuppa in the cafe.

This is such a lovely spot, for a picnic, to enjoy the cafe, to admire the art gallery and of course - learn about the history of the area. The volunteers have taken SUCH great care in caring for this beautiful place.nnThe volunteers were incredibly helpful and welcoming, we’ll be back here and we’ll bring others to enjoy!

Just off the motorway at Beenleigh it’s tucked in opposite Mitre 10. It cost $4 a person and then extra for jumping castle, pony rides or petting zoo. There was heaps to see and do for the kids or those who are historically inclined. They have a variety of demos to enjoy throughout the day which are well run by the staff. There’s also a coffee shop / cafe available. The images will give you a feel for what your money gets you but for $16 for a family of 4 it was a great morning and early arvo out. Not much parking so you have to park on the road. Jumping castle is small but there’s heaps of animals in the small petting zoo area.
