Be extremely careful if your employer refers you to this third party provider. They are not acting in your interests at all, and will even state that they are only acting on behalf of your employer in a paid capacity. Figure it out for yourself. You are likely being shafted. It doesn't matter if you have a legitimate illness / injury.

I strongly advise anyone that is instructed to have an Independent Medical Review completed by Dr Mattes, request to see another Doctor. The report in which I received back was completely incorrect. Despite all of my treating health professionals including Doctors, a Physiotheripst & a Psychologist, all of whom have been treating myself for several years, outlined my current diagnosis and illness, according to Dr Mattes I am now fully recovered, in two hours he managed to achieve what all the above professionals have been unable to do in years . It is extremely evident that Dr Mattes works solely for the insurance company and that he doesn't take into consideration the impact in which he is having on so many innocent people's lives.

I got sent to see a Dr Mattes twice at mlcoa by my insurance company for a assignment after a work place injury.nWell where to start Dr Mattes was.nNo words can realy say what he was or what he is.nHe is payed by the insurance provider to give reports in favor of the insurer.nWhen I saw Dr Mattes I had had a stroke I did everthing he asked answerd all his questions he asked.nThe first time I saw him he left me in bed in server pain.nWhen I received a copy of his report it was nothing like the physical and the answers to the questions where not even mine there was answers to questions that he didn't even ask me.nIn his description of me he discribed me as :- Salt and pepper hair tanned skin upper body and lower body was impressively muscular built like a rugby player. What ever Stephen is doing he must keep doing.nSo for you thats reading this are thinking he must be from Newzeland.nWell I'm from the UK I'm ginger graying hair pail skin with freckals and obese and havnt moved of the couch for the last 2 years.nSo from that point I never read any more because I knew It was a total fabrication of the truth.nSecond time I saw Dr Mattes I took my daughter with me.nWhen answering Dr Mattes first question he wrote my answer down I asked him to read aloud what he wrote as my answer WELL Dr Mattes had just made up his own answer thats when my daughter had a little giggle to herself.nI told him to rub it out and put the correct answer in which he did saying sorry he's only human and can also make mistakes.nWish I got $$$$$$$ of a insurance company to make mistakes.nWe went through the assessment and he made a fair few othe mistakes around 30 on the first assessment and around 35 on the second.nComming to the end of the assessment he said one more thing to do was to test my eyes then that was it.nI asked him if he was going to test my hot and cold to touch on the left and right side of my body.nIn the first report he fabritcated the answer and said he did this exam and I pasted it.nBut infact he never did this exam the first time.nHe looked at me and used his old go to answer of we are all human and prone to mistakes he asked if he could do it now which I smiled a said no.nWhen we got his report back as per usual it was full of fabritcated answers that I never even answered.nMy daughter was amazed when she read it.nIm a carpenter if I did my job this bad I wouldn't last half aday on the job.nHe's a Doctor and can fabricate answers and make thing up as he along the way he is ruining people's life's and family's along the way.nHe's happy he gets his fat check feeds his family so he wouldn't dare go bite the hand that feeds him.nnPLEASE BE CAREFUL AND TAKE A WITTNESS WITH YOU BECAUSE WHAT EVER YOU SAY WILL NOT BE REPRESENTED IN YOUR REPORT.

Worst experience ever I suffered a major crush to the foot i was suffering high pain levels and major discomfort and iratation and loss of sensation to my hole foot after the surgury no matter what you tell them they are payed to fail you, do not be fooled they are not your friends.
