GIO Insurance

Gio customer service is outstanding compared to 2 other major companies i have had business with .

Odd concept this insurance. I give them money, i get nothing in return....

Moved house recently within the same post code and my premium has gone UP! What a crock. Better house. Better roads. Less errant wildlife to dodge. Same post code. But apparently there have been more claims from this area (?!) so when I changed my address I was sent an invoice for an additional premium. It's not heaps, because the policy is up for renewal in a few weeks anyway, but I'm disappointed to have an increase in premium within the same post code. Interestingly, a different insurance policy with a different company actually went down, but that had to do with something explainable, like the type of structure. I normally really like GIO, but this has raised my ire. Oh well...
