Danny's Seafood La Perouse

We got the hot seafood platter, but both the hot and mixed cold+hot platters looked good. Generous portions so you will not leave hungry. The Platters are $120 which is on the pricier end of the scale. The seafood was cooked nicely, only the fish and rice was a little bit dry. A price point around $100 would make the platter more appealing.nnI agree with other reviews, that the decor is quite dated and the restaurant does need a refresh. Redoing the floors, replacing the front counter and giving the place a fresh coat of paint would really make a difference. The location is fabulous and there is a good balance of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are friendly and attentive.

Lovely! Great food. I asked for an affogato which wasn't on the menu and it wasn't any trouble at all. Pricing was great and service was lovely. Just a nice peaceful unhurried lunch. Highly recommend

Food was good. Service lousy. Even taking into account Mothers Day, it too 2 hours for mains, table wasn’t where we had ordered and apart from the garlic bread, nothing came without us asking - correct table, order to be taken, drinks, mains- hopelessly understaffed for what must be one of the busiest days of the year

Just terrible, haven’t been in years and will not go back. Place needs a big renovation especially the bathrooms. I would be embarrassed as the owner.nBesides that, the food was not that good at all unfortunately. Such a prime spot, just a shame. Agree with last review , Greek salad ? No way was that Greek salad. Seafood not that fresh or tasty.

The food was quick to deliver, but the quality was not good. Overpriced. Nice location with a view.nGreek salad - an absolute embarrassment to Greek culture. 70% iceberg lettuce, 30% ingredients that actually belong in a Greek salad.nFries - not a sprinkle of salt on any of the 4 dishes ordered.nDory fish - decently soft and moistnBarramundi - overcooked and dry
