My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tinkersfield. We have been all around the world staying at 5 star resorts, but at the end of the day, Tinkersfield is our favourite place to stay.nnWarren's cooking - this is a must for every person that stays here. You will need to book in advance and give them plenty of notice as they get very busy (only because his cooking is delicious!!!).nnBring your pooch too - they love dogs, and have dog sitting for a great price.

Thank you Sonja & Warren, for changing our lives in ways that you could not have imagined. Every time we have come to stay at Tinkersfield, it has been absolutely amazing.nnFrom the beautiful scent the minute we walk in (which instantly relaxes me!), to the gorgeous furniture and decor, your place has made us fall in love with the area. The views from the lounge room is absolutely mesmerising, and we were so fortunate to see so many roos!nnIt is honestly the best place to stay in the region. Don't forget to order in room dining if you are staying in, as Warren is a world renowned chef (but very humble still!).nnWe love Tinkersfield ,so much so, you will be pleased to know that we have moved here permanently :) Hope to see you around town!!!

Absolutely gorgeous, Sonja has thought of every detail, there’s not one thing that you could want in Field Hut 2 that is missing. The view was lovely and very peaceful. I highly recommend Tinkersfield.

This is such a special place, your own field house privately appointed surrounded by nature, beautifully designed, great food, love the log fire, super relaxing. A must!

Solidly wonderful. We stayed as part of a big wedding party, the reception taking place on site. Our studio for 3 nights was attached to one of the bigger one-bedroom huts by a hallway. Everything is beautifully presented, quiet, and had so many individual touches. The breakfast foods (milk, jams, butter, bread, yoghurt, berry compote) were an undeniably handy touch. Jindabyne town centre is only a 10min drive, but it was nice to have these items accessible. Bonus points for the kangaroo visits to our hut in early morning and dusk.nThe good:nThe views, stunning fireplace, reading materials (Sanctuary magazine!), ironing board, hair dryer, bath salts, comfy couch and bedding. They’ve thought of everything. One could easily plant themselves here and never leave. Foxtel was a great addition given the limited access to free-to-air channels.nnThe bad:nGiven the newness of this property there are some overlooked functional aspects, which I’m sure the owners will fix as they become more established.nThere is no sign from the main road, so read google carefully! There are also no internal signs on the property, so read the maps to the huts provided in advance and try to arrive before dark. We stayed in early April and the place was frightfully cold. Keep the fire going and you’ll be toasty for your whole stay. The heated floors in the bathroom would be welcome elsewhere, the cold concrete meant we kept our shoes on most of the time. The bathrooms need some quick attention. While the bath and open shower look lovely with their copper taps etc, the shower floods the entire bathroom as there is zero fall line for drainage. Perhaps a lip could be created between the toilet and shower areas? If you’re sensitive to light, bring an eye mask. The Roman blinds and curtains are thick, but don’t have a block out backing. Our studio also had a glass front door and glass bathroom door, so plenty light streamed in through those in the mornings. The cleaners also use a super potent lemon scented room spray, if you are sensitive to smells it would be worth warning them before arrival. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided. Though the shampoo didn’t wash my hair at all. BYO shampoo and body moisturizer. The wifi was patchy at best, it was a nice excuse to unplug however. The back draught in the bathroom also clanked loudly during high wind, which became annoying on windy nights.
