Skitube Day Parking

Gets very busy on weekends. The wind absolutely howls through this car park and there is loose gravel from where the snowplows clear it. This means that when it really blows the cars actually get gravel blasted. On a windy day it is not uncommon to see 5-6 cars with at least one of their windows smashed in from the gravel and countless more with gravel chips. Be really careful not to park where people walk past either or you will get a little pink poppet scratching past your car with her ski poles.

This parking is good with lot of spaces, big enough to accommodate enough cars , specially in winter season which is the best to visit there. I found some people got lost because of lack of enough signage lead and trail to skitube.

Large car park for the ski tube with plenty of spaces to pack cars into. Surface is pretty terrible however with large pot holes, it really needs to be resealed. Also, large cars such as 4WD will overhang the spaces.
