BritFish and Chips

If a Union Jack, a bottle of pickled onions and a tub of curry sauce that looked and tasted like watered-down prehistoric sludge is British fish & chips, then we obviously grew up in a very different part of Britain.nnMassively overpriced, no offer of vinegar on the decidedly not-anything-like-English chips and decor that's as pleasantly presented as a bad day in Syria.nnWe called ahead to ask what time they were open to, but found it closed for 45 mins when we got there. Wish we'd read the reviews while waited. Frankly, I wish we tried the Italian down the road instead....I'm pretty sure they'd be closer to British.nnAvoid, save yourself some money and go anywhere else.

I wish I had a look at the Google reviews before I went and saw how low their rating was.. I rarely whinge online because I don't like how some people find fault in everything in life, however, sorry to say do not waste your money on the fish and chips from this place.nnThe fish was covered in huge chunks of rock hard overcooked batter and just grease throughout. We support local business as much as we can, so I'd like to say to the owners of this place please make an effort and give a good name to small business in Landsborough.
