I dined in solo and the meal was awesome. Fresh and delicious. I want to highly commend the young woman serving for her EXCEPTIONAL standard of service too. Not only was she super friendly and attentive, but I was hearing her with take away customers making friendly chat. She was juggling a lot and keeping cool. Please treasure this employee and show deep gratitude. Thank you all for a great meal.

Without a doubt the best meal I've had for a very long while. Vermicelli noodle and seafood salad was exactly what I had expected. So very fresh and the perfect amount of ud83cudf36 for me, ordered mild probably could gone with hot.. Coconut rice of course and Red curry was simply delicious. Ann made us feel very welcome in her little venue. Will be making the trip back there from Caloundra even for take away as the flavours far surpassed any other Thai on offer in my town.

Beautiful Thai food here. I use to go to them when they were at Moffatt Beach. We have moved to Mooloolah and couldn't believe they are here. Highly recommend to try this place. ud83dudc4cud83dude4fud83dude42ud83eudd63ud83eudd57ud83cudf72

It was early Friday evening when I entered the Muang Thai establishment. I was looking for something quick as I was meeting up with people for a potluck dinner, and I was going to bring some fried rice. Simple right? Well, the young lady behind the counter told me they were busy that evening and it would be 30 mins for my one order. I thanked her anyway and headed out the door to see what I could instead bring from the take away place next door. But the lady stopped me and and after a quick word with an older lady busy cooking behind her, told me that they could get me the fried rice in 15 mins since that was all I needed. Great, I paid the $15 and thanked them again for being accommodating. So far this was looking like a 5 star review waiting to be. I left to procure some beverages to bring with the rice and arrived exactly 15 minutes later hoping to take my simple order and go. There was now a line up of people waiting to order so I sat in a nearby chair to await my rice. And I waited. 15 minutes later and still they were filling other orders but mine was nowhere to be seen and it was past the 30 minutes they originally said it would take, let alone the 15 minutes they promised instead. What was getting annoying was I heard the young lady telling customers that the wait was 30 and then 35, and then 40 minutes. But, she added, if you are eating here in the restaurant we will expedite your order ahead of the others so you don’t have to wait half an hour. Which explained why customers who arrived well after I did were getting full meals delivered to them while I was sitting there empty handed. 45 minutes after I ordered and I was now extremely late to a dinner where I was supposed to bring part of the food, I finally had to ask the lady where my order was. She looked at the customer who was deciding what to get and apologised to her that she had to go “check on this guy’s order” and turned away to look at receipts. She comes back a couple minutes later, doesn’t say a word to me about what I just asked her, and goes on to take the next three customers menu orders. What?! By now I’m getting antsy at being basically lied to and ignored and disappointing people who are waiting for me. I see an order of fried rice that’s been sitting on the counter and I quickly ask between customers if that is my order there? With a deep sigh the girl looks at the receipt and states No, that’s someone else’s. I almost walked out then and there. I get out my phone to text again that I’m still waiting for the order of rice, JUST RICE, and apologising to my people for making them all wait and knowing I won’t be getting any of the other potluck dishes by the time I get there, when suddenly I hear my name yelled from 5 inches from my face and a steaming hot plastic tub of rice is thrust into my open hand not holding the phone. No plastic bag for me even though every other takeaway order got one. The cheap plastic Tupperware was so ridiculously hot I almost dropped the thing. There was a quickly mumbled “sorry for the long wait” from the counter girl and part of me wanted to demand a bag and some utensils and napkins like they gave all the other people, but what was the point?nNow, I could easily have given this a one star review rather than two, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt that this was an unusual experience for both of us. I can’t really comment on the quality of the food as it was just rice I ordered. But really, if you see someone is in a hurry, please don’t offer them expedited service and then have them wait an hour longer than initially expected just because you want to give your in-house customers a better wait time.
