Just stopped in to order a meal and I was very pleased to find a great country pub. Friendly customers and excellent staff, The Railway is a clean & welcoming hotel. Didn't stay as we had other accommodation, however the meal was very good! Thanks Georgia for your wonderful and friendly service.
Had a substantial and tasty lunch here, excellent service and friendly lady behind the bar. Interior has been refurbished retaining original character. Worth a visit.
My husband, grown up children & grandchild stayed for a night as we were attending a 30th Birthday party in Allora. We had 4 rooms, 3 on the balcony side, our rooms were very roomy, clean, comfortable & warm. The long verandah off our rooms was a great bonus and we utilised the tables and chairs for an after party drink. The shared bathroom & 2 seperate toilets were great, clean & modern. The meals from the restaurant were absolutely delicious and all of the staff were extremely accommodating. We loved every second of our stay and will definitely recommend the Railway for everything from the accommodation, the bar area, the meals in the restaurant to the beer garden/outdoor dining, the atmosphere is excellent in every area of the pub. 10/10 from the Steele family
Wherever I go I always try a pubs or clubs seafood basket....I've had a few.The ones served to my wife and I today was as good as the first time I tried one here.Best I have EVER had.Staff, premises, service, fantastic.
The food was really good well priced. But did wait around 45 minutes for meal to be delivered. The barmaid kept on disappearing one bloke waited about 5 minutes to get a drink, and her attitude was not what you would call country hospitality . But good atmosphere and enjoyable meal just the staff need a refresher course.
