This hidden gem near Lake Moogerah is our favourite local winery. David (the owner) is super friendly, knowledgeable about wines, history, local areas and even birds. Wines are fabulous. Lovely location to pop in with your own picnic basket. Will be back again.
Dropped in for a taste and to pick up a bottle, had a pleasant chat with the owner who is very knowledgeable about the area and passionate about his wines. The wines are tasty and a reasonable price. Will drop in again when we are back this way.
Beautiful estate, and David was lovely and shared so much knowledge! Tried their wines and came home with a shiraz and fortified. Will be back!
Bunjurgen Estate is clearly one of the most authentic wine experiences I've ever had, and I've had plenty of them around the world in my 30+ years of wine industry experience. David is an outstandingly pleasant and urbane host and the service culture of Bunjurgen Estate is a lesson to every QLD tourism business in customer service 101. His method of setting you up under the tree in a truly Alfresco manner to enjoy the glorious Scenic Rim weather, offering tastings of his fully Estate grown wines and regaling his expert knowledge of the vineyard and wines, plus a few good stories thrown in, is a joy to behold. This is a must visit Scenic Rim wine experience.
Beautiful and very well run estate. Wine is very well priced and nice to drink. As a recommendation give the Shiraz and port a try they are both very good. Will be back again soon.
