5:30am ferry. Not to much of a queue but line goes quick enough. But eerie in the dark.
Efficient operation. $8 one way. $16 return for an average vehicle (more for longer vehicles/trailers). Requires booking if above 25 tonne. Thought it was pricey for a 1 min trip - Suggest cheaper return ticket for $12 (for day trippers)
These guys and gals are the heart of the Noosa North Shore community. Dependable, reliable and fast. They just keep the traffic flowing from one side of the river to the other.
We use the ferry to carry out work on the North Shore, We where returning from a job and had $8.00 ferry fee the operator of the ferry refused to take our silver saying they don't take any silver smaller than a 50 cent piece. The aggressive ferry operator then told us to leave our phone as security and go and get the right denominations he requested,Our $8.00 was made up of $4.00 in 20 cent pieces the rest gold coins The operator stopped the ferry and went and made a phone call, Obviously to his boss, He then came back and took our money and threw the reciept in our car.. What a joke how they getaway with asking for cash and the right change and no silver. Get with the 21st century,How can Noosa council let these COWBOYS be the first people that greet you when going to Noosa North Shore. Great for Tourism
