The parking and store were 5 star, but the checkout experience was confusing with an alcohol purchase and first time visit to the store. My wife and I came into aisle 4 with our shopping and a slab of rivet. Once it was our turn we were told that all alcohol purchases had to be made in aisle 5 and 6.nThe checkout operator gave us 2 choices, both of which were very confusing. I am disabled but not old, and as best that I could took a good look around the register and saw no indication of this system. The operator at my request offered a solution to pay for all groceries and alcohol at the supposedly correct register.nThe lady working at that register and at 1.30pm ish today pointed to a sign that was several feet above my head. Now my mobility is very poor with neck an back to have seen a sign that high anyway, but why is this sign here and not in the aisle that I originally lined up in?nI was then made to feel small by the lady operator and that I had done something wrong, which maybe I had, but the system is very poor and confusing. The other operator on register 4 suggested that when this usually happens the customer usually does this or that, so this seems to happen often.nSolution.. put the signs on all other aisles, it does no good only in the correct aisle for the alcohol purchases. And consider putting something like a sign at the customer' eye level so as to be seen, the same concept as you would normally do with all your checkout impulse buy items.

Great place, but Aldi really could do with some radio or music. Public bathroom, would help. The only centre that doesn't have a public bathroom. A bit of radio or music would enhance and make the shopping experience more desirable.

Not on the main drag - that's a good thing.

I love shopping at Aldi but would have to agree that I’m never sure what mood the checkout operator will be in. Staff here are definitely not as friendly as Fairy Meadow. I’ve had one guy start scanning my shop before the last person had moved their trolley away and then he had a go at me for not packing fast enough and no I wasn’t packing into bags. I told him next time he should wait until my trolley is in place. He still works there so I always hope I don’t get him on the register.

Been in a lot ALDI’s and staff been always helpful & friendly, I didn’t find this one the same
