I bought the product a few days ago and opened it now, but the product says display olny. I don't have time to go right now. Can I use this or not??

Service was bad. I was purchasing a bottle of face cleanser and took the tester to counter asking if I can get a bottle of that. Staff scanned the same used bottle and when I asked if I can get a new bottle, staff insisted it was new and unopened, and started questioning me, and only reluctantly went to get a new bottle upon me insisting. The other staff had tested that same bottle on me minutes ago and now they are trying to sell this used tester to customers?
