Absolutely hopeless.. waited for a gas bottle to arrive for 2 weeks when it didn’t arrive on the day it was supposed to. I specifically noted with them to let me know when it would arrive so I could unlock gates. No communication, I wasn’t home, gas bottles didn’t get delivered and apparently it was my fault.nGot a refundnI will get my gas elsewherenI suggest you do the samenCheers

A local business that does not care. Not interested in their customer. ordered a bottle, paid for it, told delivery the next day. Nothing.nRang the ELGAS hotline, rang out for Port. Leave a message I did. No reply.nSent an email on their website, no reply. Nothing.nRang yet again, they answered!! We are busy, bad luck.nI have already paid......Now another night and day with no gas. Five now and counting.....why would you use them?? My last order.

I rang and ordered 2 gas bottles on Thursday morning (27th June) informing the lady that took my call that I had actually ran out of gas and needed a delivery ASAP as I have a 9 month old as well as a 10 and 11 year old and it was coming up to the weekend and it is Winter!nShe told me that it would not be a problem and that my delivery would arrive tomorrow (Friday 28th May) - I arrived home from work and nothing had been delivered.nnI rang the Port Macquarie office Monday morning to inquire when my delivery was coming only to be told she did not know! How is this possible that someone who is taking phone calls and making bookings for deliveries in your local area not have any concept of when a delivery is taking place? My complaint was met with 'we have only 1 driver' and 'I don't know the schedule'??????nI asked that she redo my order and make it 1 gas bottle instead of 2 as I will not be continuing my business with such an un-organised company.nWhen my gas bottle finally arrived on Wednesday (2nd June) 5 days after when it was supposed to arrive, I repeated my concerns to the lovely driver, who was very empathetic unlike the lady who took my call and apologised.nnMy parents live in Taree and placed an order with ELGAS @ Taree on Monday and it was delivered the very next day just as they said it would be - clearly they are better managed than Port Macquarie!nI think lying to your customers is a common occurrence and your poor delivery drivers know it!

There was an Elgas system in the house we bought last year in Port Macquarie, to run the gas cooktop. We decided to change to an electric induction cooktop, so I contacted Elgas to arrange for removal of the gas bottle. The whole process was handled very well, and dealing with the staff over the phone was a pleasure.

Instructed Port Mac Elgas on how to get to gas bottles, confirmed on phone, said it was no problem, Driver turns up, says he couldn't get to gas bottles. Left my family with no Gas, no heating and no Hot Water... Absolutely appalling..
