The Sewing Basket is a treasure trove of sewing needs with fabulous fabrics and notions galore. Zippers, threads, wool, knitting needles, crochet needles and yarns and much more. Try here first for anything you need as it all goes to helps those people that Achieve Australia supports. Even the staff are volunteers. Fantastic enterprise.
There is always a treasure to find at The Sewing Basket. Great range of donated goods including material, buttons, beads, embroidery cottons, lace, trims and other craft materials. I always find something to buy.
Warm Customer Service, Excellent shopping atmosphere for sewing hobbiers. Great NGO concept helping environment protection as well as those vulnerable sectors.
There is a sign at the front of the shop saying closed until further notice. I traveled 45 mins to get there and 45 back. Time not well spent!
