Concord Pets

We bought a beautiful little baby cockatiel 4 weeks ago. We named him Joey. He was 8 weeks old when we bought him. Along with Joey, who we paid $200 for, we purchased a high cage, toys and bird food. We also purchased a smaller cage as well. Total amount spent over $600. We followed every instruction given to us by Gary and his mother. Yesterday Joey died. We found him dead at the bottom of his cage. We are devastated. We went back to see Gary and his mother to see if there was something we did wrong. They assured us we did everything right. We asked them for some sort of compensation, perhaps another bird at a discounted rate but they were not interested in helping us in any way. Surely with all the birds they breed they could've had the kindness to offer us something. They are just greedy people who once they make a sale don't care about anything else. I will be taking this further !! So disappointed. Only interested in making money.....

I'm not sure why other people have given this place a poor rating, my experience with Gary and his mom were amazing. They run a great business together and I found them both to be such lovely people! My partner and I just picked up our baby Crimson Bellied Conure and couldn't be happier! He's already eating and drinking comfortably within a few hours of being home. He's such a sweet boy and we can't wait to see him blossom and grow. Gary's knowledge was extensive. I would highly recommend going to them!

We've bought three birds from Concord Pets; two Sun Conjures, and most recently a Black Cap Lorrie. All birds were in excellent condition.Thanks to Gary's devoted hand raising, they have all easily bonded to their new owners and have quick become much loved family members. On its first night the Lorrie actually fell asleep in my arms!nnMarta Crolla

I bought a pack 5 kg pellet with my bird, because the staff told me that this is THE SAME pellet that they feed him at pet store. But when I got home, my bird is NOT EVEN TOUCHING THEM...I don't know why, maybe I was tricked into buying the wrong thing. Also when I ask if I could just buy 2 kg for now, he refused, said 5 kg at least...nnI bought a hand raised green cheek conure, and he is such a sweetie! Playful and energetic, love to stay on my shoulder and play with my hair and earrings, or cuddle in my hair when I'm taking a nap at day time :) the stars are for the bird.

Excellent well kept, well stocked and clean pet shop with friendly service. Keep up the good work
