Camden Council

Went there a while to make some enquires and was told they will be with me in a short while .I Waited over one hour only to be told no one available to discuss a specialised set of questions . No apology etc or reason given , they suggested I should come back tomorrow but I travelled over 800 miles to see a friend as I was hoping to build a house in that area and I could not do that as I had to go home that night .

Jp she was very rude today. We have everything but she jjust want licence with new address. She refuse to take Camden bill Australian passport. She just want licence. Very upset with new council. We just moved to this area.

Went in to have a JP witness a signature on a legal document and was in and out within 5 minutes. Happy days!

The building itself is beautifully presented , as is the area it's located at. Obviously the cost of building the place prevented the Council supplying enough staff to cover the main counter. No separate counters as the old building had, for Development Applications or Pet Registration. Four staff today, three of whom were attending to lengthy D.A's & the fourth doing a pet registration. In the meantime you wait in luxurious surroundings for 45 mins for someone to help (eventually noting our unimpressed faces, the Customer Service lady decided to attend to us, apologising for the lengthy delay). At least ratepayers see where their money goes???? Obviously we weren't the only dissatisfied customers as several other people waited behind us, all voicing their frustration. More staff needed urgently!!!
