Where do I start. Got our LPG gas connection and ordered bottles. Purchased a couple of appliances an LPG indoor heater on payment plan and LPG outdoor heater. They sent us a natural gas outdoor knowing that we are an LPG customer and ordered LPG gas heater. I told them it said natural gas and they confirmed it was converted to LPG. We had to get hose connection, the trouble we went through was ridiculous to connect it, only to find it was never converted there were blue flames coming out of it wildly, nearly burnt our pergola had to switch off asap. Suppose to emit red radiant heat. Told Elgas. They took a month to tell us they won't convert it nor send us the right heater we ordered. Had to chase them. Another month pass by and about a dozen emails back and forth. Finally they said they will refund after all the headache. We complained and chased and they gave us $150 credit as compensation for the headache and inconvenience. Then delivery came for new gas bottle and delivery guy insisted our bottles were full even when there was auto switch valve with empty. Had to convince the guy that it was empty. After all that we gave up and left them. I would never ever ever recommend this company to anyone. Go elsewhere like Supagas or Gas Shed even Origin just don't go here.

The worst customer service ever, overcharged from a manager ! Nobody knows what they are doing.

Got a call today from elgas claiming that I have $ owing on my account. We have just purchased the property we are in now and had no idea what the lady on the phone was talking about. She then proceeded to threaten that if we do not pay the outstanding amount, debt collectors will be knocking on our door. Such unprofessionalism and horrible attitude, disgusting business tactics.

Worst Customer Service Every & if I could rate at -5 I would. I had an issue with a 45kg Gas cylinder 3 months ago which turned out to be a regulator leak & run out of gas after 5 & half months. Another bottle was supplied as an emergency delivery after incorrect information was given out from customer service that once the plumber had fixed the regulator they could get something out ASAP which then turned into 5-10 days due to everyone panic buying more bottles than they needed in the mist of COVID 19. This time I have been unlucky to get 3 months out of the 45kg bottle. Basically ELGAS supervisors answer is I have used more due to winter or its the hot water service using more or stove appliance, so now i'm 2 days before i can get another bottle & they said i should have checked it or had a second bottle to avoid the issue of running out & its my problem not theirs, can't & won't even assess usage for a credit because I haven't been in the rental property for one full winter. My usage should be 6 months through the summer & 5 months through winter for one person who using hot water & stove 3 times a week. May be cheaper, but overall usage is less, so in the long run you do not save money

Just wondering why, year after year when my gas bottle runs out I have to wait 5-6 days for a refill. Customer service could care less that you are using gas for cooking. I've been told next delivery should be one of two days next week. Should be. They need to contact their delivery people to see what day they will be in the area. How do you not know what day people are in the area? Because they are not customer service based. They could care less.
