The hills shire does not have crown authority under the Commonwealth Of Australia Constitution Act 1901/1900uk they are not a third tier of Government and had 4 Referendums 1974 1978 1988 1999 the local government act 1993 doesn’t have a proclamation certificate from her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II look it up for your self and find out the hard way they can’t charge you for parking tickets when they don’t have proper authority in the first place or council rates same thing

I’m a local from Baulkham Hills. The council are effective and get things fast, I’ll admit that. But locals talk and the Hills Council have a bad rep for having a bullying and a toxic workplace.

The council development approver mandated we have a clothing line for our granny flat, fair call. Then in the final DA approve they put the air conditioner compressor in the same spot and spank in the middle. We have the water tank on the other wall, no space on the back wall. So I guess my clothing line needs to go on the roof? Maybe I should start to practice my levitation ASAP!nnThere is a perfect spot on the other side of the water tank big enough for the compressor away from neighbour sides towards the middle of the garden!nnWhen asked then where should we put the mandated clothing line the response was “I see your point...silence”. Refuse to change. 20 years of council fees and this is how they treat the residents... without logic or common sense.nnEscalated to the approver supervisor - head of planning, same response. The point is we are still confused...so where do we attach our clothing line that the council said we must have?
