I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Naren and his team at Career Success Australia. I am a recent Media & Communications graduate from the University of Melbourne, working as a freelance translator and editor. As an international student, it was really hard for me to get any job opportunities in the media communications field here especially in these unusual times. However, I always believe there’s a right place for me, and what I know is to keep trying.nnHere’s how I got to know Naren. Several weeks ago, I applied for the Marketing Communications and Design internship at Career Success Australia. After two weeks, I still didn’t get any reply so I decided to directly message Naren on LinkedIn to introduce myself a bit and leave my contact ways. He replied to me promptly and asked me to resend the application materials. I did so right away. Later, his colleague, Eugenia emailed me to finish two written tasks as the next step of the application. I submitted the writings before the deadline and they were happy with that. So, we had an interview on that Friday morning. At the end of the interview, Naren honestly told me the two positions for the internship were already fulfilled and needed time to reconsider whether to open another position to drive their Chinese social media. Meanwhile, Naren was very kind to encourage me to keep trying. The next Monday I got the update from Naren and he told me that he had to pull the Chinese social media marketing on hold. However, he also offered a kind help to connect me with a local start-up. After one written questionnaire and the interview with the founder of the company, I finally got the digital marketing internship. Meanwhile, Naren kindly organised the internship formalities for the host company and me.nnThank you, Career Success Australia! I would recommend the Career Success Australia team to all international graduates who are looking to get into the Australian workforce. The CSA team helped me secure my first IT job in Australia after coming here as an international graduate. Even though I joined the program during very uncertain times (the Covid issue was happening), Naren and the team got me into a good internship with a software company. The Career Success Australia team are helpful and supportive and I am extremely happy to have been offered a job with the same company who took me as an Intern.
