Simple Ceremonies

Ange and Simple Ceremonies helped us have a perfect wedding, even at short notice. A stunning harbour backdrop, with a beautiful and elegant waterside arbor and seating set up, our wedding was just perfect. We also really appreciated having the ceremony broadcast over Zoom to our family and friends interstate and overseas - and a recording for keepsake and sharing too - we're delighted. Highly recommend Simple Ceremonies for those who want to have a simple and easy, yet warm marriage experience. Their website and instructions are super clear and thoughtful with all the reminders and tips that the whole legal process was super easy for us. Great experience on the day of registration as well. Excellent Service. Hassle free from the start. Online document submission and clear instructions on how to go about the process.nTimely, friendly and efficient service on the day. Despite bad weather, an alternate venue was promptly arranged. Michael was great. Highly recommend.

Do not recommend. It's a factory style company, quick and dirty. There's no heart and soul behind it. We wrote the entire ceremony for Michael and he told us to print it and give it to him *on the day* to read. Not even a quick glance over. Unfortunately, on the day of our wedding as I waited nervously to walk down the aisle, he told me that he had to change everything so he could leave at 1pm exactly (our ceremony started at 12:30pm). This is exactly why a read a day or two before would have been helpful. Sure enough at exactly 1pm he raced off to host another wedding, and then had another immediately after, assembly line style. It just felt trashy and disappointing. To Simple Ceremonies: perhaps consider having a 10 minute buffer between ceremonies, especially when this is going to be one of the most important event in someone's life. It really makes a difference. Side note: 'Just Married Weddings' is another company my friend used and she said they were great. They also cost about the same as Simple Ceremonies.
