I wouldn't recommend IRO at all from my experience. I wont taint all staff, though from the three people that I had experience with at IRO they weren't interested at all in helping, and had very little compassion for a seriously injured worker who was having difficulties with the insurance company. One senior case manager was outright rude and belittling of my injuries and circumstances. I won't contact them again, nor would I recommend anyone else to do so.

Not sure why WIRO is having all these officers working for WIRO. It's just wasting of public money. They can not help people with needs cause insurance companies are stronger than Scomo's government.

Lack of sensitivity and etiquette from WIRO staff experienced multiple times (male staff with a name starts with ''S'' the latest experience).nnDid not try to understand the issue and brushed the worker aside.nnWIRO in general is just another toothless tiger to make worker believe there is some watch in the system but actually it is just an eye wash.nnThey could be hands in glove with insurer in a number of matters.nnUrge workers to read injured worker blogs.nnNSW government needs to keep real legal and social advocates in place not insurer friendly WIRO to support injured workers.

Absolutely no help you can't even make a complaint when they can't be stuffed to chase up the initial complaint. I just love seeing my family go without so they can keep their insurance friends happy allowing them to breach legislation or coax suicide yet WIRO will tell you that there's nothing they can do this system is beyond pathetic!

Wiro has given me great info & helped me pursue my claim successfully, when the insurer, Centrelink & my employer were making life difficult, on numerous occasions.
