Nice new Woolies store. Close to home, mostly good service and love the Drive Up and Collect option!

I went to buy Jalna strawberry flavour yoghurt for my daughter, picked up a jar and went home.nDaughter noticed the jar expiry date is 8th April, today's date is 11th April.nHad to rush back to return, the counter lady returned and asked if I wanted another flavour with no apologies.nI am very disappointed, as I had to do 2 trip, plus the rest of the jars were all of the same expiry date, 8th April.nnVery slack housekeeping

On the 6th of March 2021, at 4:45 pm, we went to the Edmondson Park Woolworth Supermarket to buy some groceries. After we completed the fruit section shopping, we went to the meat section. In the meat section, a service person, Janet, was marking down items near expiration dates. When we went to see the marked-down items, Janet did not allow us to see the items and told us to keep social distancing (which we already were!). We abided by the rule of social distancing and agreed that we will come later to see the marked-down items after, Janet was done. But we were heading to the bakery section, we saw Janet hiding the marked-down items in the egg fridge section, away from the previous meat area. After she left, A man with a trolly filled only with 80-90 different marked-down items (most being meat and poultry products) came and took the discounted items from the locations that Janet had hidden them in. The man later went to Janet and she was further marked-down more items for him to pick up.nnI just wanted to say that marked-down items should be kept in their fixed location for the customer to find them and not hidden away by workers to purchases themselves of their family member/friend. It is the customer's right to purchase the items first unless the customers don’t want the product. Janet’s behaviour towards the customer was very rude and I am believing that this did not only happen to me and other customer’s faced the same issue. I think that customers have the first priority to buy discounted items, not workers.nnFor this kind of customer service I will give 0 stars.

Great layout, fully stocked. Easy to navigate and plenty of space at the service area to maintain social distancing. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Prices were what you would expect, with enough items on special that everyone could grab a bargain.
