This industry Association has undertaken absolutely nothing in the field of making Builders and Contractors ,who pay their premiums to support it, accountable for their actions regarding defective building works residentially. They exist based on premiums and come down hard on a member who consults for Building Defects and has a complaint made against them for taking the dodgy developer on. Code of Ethics, BS.nnTheir LOGO in EPS Vector Format is free online for anyone to download and use, so what are the benefits of being a member, None.nnLast time i obtained a Quote for two vans through them, the garage turned out to be cheaper. They are all about the Monthly Premiums, and thats it. 90% of the entities I report on have no industry affiliations with them or the MBA. Being a member of either is just a BS monthly premium to support their staff and golfing trips and manuals on various construction methods that have no compliance in a Courtroom.
