Morven Historical Museum

What a great little hut. Really makes you appreciate the innovative spirit of those early pioneers in the outback. This is really worth pulling over to take a look.

An interesting and under-rated roadside attraction for people stopping for a rest break on the long haul out along the Warrego Highway. There is a relic from the Great Depression years in the form of a shack that was made weatherproof on the walls and roof by flattened kerosene cans. There had been many of these in Morven during the Depression - built together ina reserved area - a testament to how tough times were.

Quaint little town with a great museum lots to see in there well worth the $1.00 would recommend the stop, great recreational camp site as well, Loved the Kerosene hut

Small town museum. Very interesting. Miniature buildings from the past really well done.

Museum was closed but some great outdoor exhibits. The kerosene hut being one of them.
