Lake Macquarie City Council

Working alongside Tom Boyle and his team for Lake Mac City Council’s (LMCC) smart city projects was both seamless and rewarding.nnThrough close collaboration with LMCC and their stakeholders, NewieVentures were proud to provide custom smart, IoT-enabled technology for the vibrant smart city. The team at Lake Mac council were extremely communicative and open to our engineers concepts and project proposals.nnWe eagerly look forward to the next project we undertake for Lake Macquarie City Council. Until then, we’re keen to observe what future smart city developments take place in the vibrant and innovative city of Lake Mac.

I bought my house just over a year ago in Morisset, as I was new to this area and not familiar with the council's bouderies and what is available in the Area, so I drove up to Lake Macquarie Council Chambers I found the Staff to be polite and most helpful with all the infornation that I required The Staff made me feel comfortable and I left the chambers Feeling good.

We recently had a very large tree branch fall in the stormwater creek near our house and the council was able to come out and remove it within two weeks which was a relief because it could have potentially caused a backup of water and flooding on the property. They did a great job and took all the pieces of wood and broken branches away with them as well. Thank you :)

not the best council but they usually get the job done. the biggest reflections of this councils work are the state of most the roads around the area. they often upgrade pointless things (parks, cycleways and sidewalks) and neglect the more important issues like roads and public amenities. the bin service is a joke, food scraps are to be collect fortnightly so they can turn maggots into compost.

When is the dog problem at redhead beach going to be adequately addressed by council? Will it take a dog attack? A child dying from ingesting dog faeces? The beach is a disgusting Cesspit and a free for all for dogs and their irresponsible owners. These people will hopefully cause dogs to be banned from the entire beach. But council seems to have no control or desire to protect human beach users safety and continues to inadequately address the issue. Where is the ranger every weekend? Why can they not be contacted by phone directly? Outside office hours is the time that the majority of dogs are running all over the beach crapping everywhere. Lmcc needs to lift its game and improve the ability of rangers to address law breakers.
