Woolworths Newcastle West

This is quite obviously the busiest supermarket in the area, it has a fantastic range stocked and a great feel and look to the store. Unfortunately what makes all this obsolete is the service in this store. When you visit the busiest store in the area, you expect there to be more than two checkouts open when there are customers lined up the aisles and those who don’t want to wait for a checkout take their enormous shopping trolleys through the self serve checkouts and back the whole area up.nThis unfortunately isn’t a one time occurrence, this is every time i visit this store, would much rather go across the road to Coles which has a smaller range but better service experience.

Lovely store with friendly staff. Deli meat was yummy. Prawns on special made for a great lunch.

Big and modern store with all you need in it. Parking is free, but can be hard to get at times, and the escalators from the carpark are excessively slow. Very convenient store for people living close by, with good fresh stock at good prices.
