I'm extremely surprised by the high ratings this Coles has received and question their legitimacy. Been shopping here for over 9 months now but cannot justify returning anymore.nThe Fresh Produce sections, Fruit, Meat, Dairy and Breads are Absolutely DISGRACEFUL! It's clearly a management tactic to leave produce out until it's last day of Safe Consumption before putting out New Produce and then the New Produce is almost off as well. Bananas, mushrooms, avocados, broccoli, the washed salads, apples, OFF CARROTS, mandarins, Strawberries swimming in slime at the bottom of the container, GRAPES! $12 a kilo for Sultanas pretending to be grapes, I could go on but to meat, ALWAYS Chicken and Pork for sale on LAST DAY of Safe Consumption with no other option, No worries I'll come back tomorrow as an experiment, yup, Chicken and Pork with 2 or 3 days left on use by, not 7 or 8 or 10! Milk same, I purchased Greek yogurt 6 days until use by, never again.nBreads stale even in the frozen food section I have purchased pizza bases and a four pack of apple pies both expired that Month. I encourage you to check the use by dates on everything at this store and you will see it's almost like this is the Hunters Region SECONDS Coles Store, where all the old junk goes but no discounts. I seldom leave comments but I have come to view this Coles as quite a dirty and dingy little establishment who are taking the .... you know what on their customers. I now shop at their competitors in the Mall and am once again enjoying FRESH FOOD!
