My son had major surgery which went well .Unfortunately he had an unpleasant experience with a nurse Gaye in recovery. He asked her what was done. Her rude response was i've told you 4 times already. He explained that he was still groggy & didn't understand . When he asked her if she could get his phone she said to him this is not a vacation. This hospital is run like a business totally privatised disappointing service and totally over priced
No complaints. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were good; warming blankets were appreciated.
Terrible surgery. Uncaring, negligent nurses that are absolutely not equipped to deal with children. My 3 year old had a massive reaction to the sedative given during his procedure but that was an inconvenience to the nurses who could not wait to get rid of us. They were telling my 3 year old he needs to vacate his recocery bed because other people may need it. The recovery room, with at least 8 beds, was empty.This place is nothing but a money making factory.
