Westmead Orthopaedics - Dr. Roger Brighton

Roger Brighton is a terrific surgeon who tells you what is going on in plain language and fixes you up as promised. I had a badly mangled knee that needed urgent surgery. Roger and his team found me a theatre and a bed and my op took place within 24 hours. He told me it would be strong enough to hold the Titanic and that certainly appears to be the case. I was impressed with everything about the whole process. The communication, care and level of understanding delivered was outstanding. I always felt that I was in very good, caring and highly capable hands. I can't recommend Dr Brighton highly enough.

I had a Total Knee replacement six weeks ago. Roger Brighton came highly recommended by a friend and also my Wife who had a Hip Replacement two years completed by him. Roger was very thorough in explaining the procedure, the pros and cons and recovery process.nnClarissa assisted me through the administrative side and booked the X-rays and follow up appointments, as well as the Health Fund side of things which took a lot pain (pardon the pun) out of the process.nnThe procedure was carried out at Lakeview Private Hospital and was very successful. I had full movement in my knee after four weeks and at six weeks I am back doing physical work that had been too painful to do for the past three years.nnI highly recommend Roger and his team for Total Knee Replacements.
