people used to come here just to watch and play with wild kangaroos. but it was just closed recently to public because of the tourist activity started to disturb the patients who were staying at hospital. They wandered around the hospital and visited there for toilet. for that reason, the staffs told all taxis and local guides not to send any people anymore around the hospital.nnif you guys are looking to play with kangaroo, the Morisset Park is the best to go instead. just ask any local taxi as they were not much uber hanging around.
WELL DONE by closing the gate. I went there 3 years ago never feed anything to kangaroo also encouraged my friend not to feed them. But saw a lot of people feed with carrot and some other human processed food. And tourist being very loud as well. Some of then are aggressive to animal too. And some of them even trying pull out joey from the pocket. Today I was going to take my kid to have a close look of kangaroo, and I don't feel disappointed at all. It is close for good.

The Mental Hospital is now CLOSED there are multiple signs saying DO NOT ENTER. Security man the boom gate and do not let vehicle or pedestrians enter.nnPlease do not try to enter as you are hindering hospital personnel from carrying out their duties.
Such a fun experience ! Be careful near the BIG males!
