I'm very sad to be writing this as I really like the Doctors at this Centre and have always had lovely experiences, however my last appointment i had quickly asked my Doctor a question in the hallway, waiting to pay and was rudely interrupted by the ?Nurse (i think) who butted in and spoke loudly in front of everyone in the waiting room, embarrassing me completely....I'm really upset and appalled by this womans behaviour today. Other than this awful experience in which i won't ever be returning to this particular practice - the doctors and reception staff are wonderful. I've seen many different and great Doctors over the years, but perhaps go somewhere else if you need to see an RN...

This is a lovely practice, my daughter brought me here last week and the doctor I saw sorted out my issue quickly. The receptionists & nurse are so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them.

Doctor's Maria Fam & Ahmed Aktabar are great! No idea about the quality of the others. However, all Reliance Medical Practices now, since April 2nd, have stopped FREE Medicare services, and now charge everyone $40 MINIMUM to see a doctor (apart from Pensioners and Health Care Card holders) which is a bad thing. The cost of living has not increased dramatically, due to COVID, so why are they charging now & they didn't charge before???

BE WARNED YOU WILL PAY FOR YOUR SESSION AND THE CARE IS POORLY AVG doctor is making reliance 200k per year, so they start charging the patient, why?nnAt $36.30 per session (10mins standard) doctors will average over 4 sessions an hour, a light 7 hour workday and taking 12 weeks off a year that's still over 200,000 a year before tax on Medicare payments alone. WITH 12 weeks holiday and more.nnYour business plan excludes those who find $20 to be the difference between eating healthily or buying eggs and rice so that a rich person who needs for nothing else can be richer.nnThere's an argument that could be made that medical professionals shouldn't work for free but that doesn't apply if you're already rich and want to be richer at the expense of others. Horrendous.nnEdit:nYour offices that I have visited are located in West gosford near Dan Murphy's and Jimmy Gs cafe, in Erina (lesser known) on koralta rd and wyong nearby a service station and across the road from an RSL, I have been going to your practises for years and will cease doing so.nnAlso know add lying to the mix because as I demonstrated with my very reasonable maths above each of your employee doctors bring you in minimum 200k per year even if they didn't work for 12 weeks. So don't tell me you're trying to service the public better by lining your pockets.

No complaints about the Dr but the administration is appalling. I booked an appointment with one of the GPs to get a referral to a specialist and the necessary documentation to access the relevant medicare rebates. My appoint was fine and the Dr was happy to make a small amendment to the referral that was required. I received my documentation and booked my appoint with my specialist that was about a month later. Upon paying for that first appointment, the specialist was unable to apply the medicare services as they had not been applied to my account. That was now 3 weeks ago, at which point I began the process of contacting Reliance to rectify the situation so I could access the rebate before my next appointment and recoup the $200 I'd had to pay out of pocket for the first. Unfortunately, Reliance has been totally unreliable in dealing with this, leading to me having to make several phone calls chasing it up without any result. I've only today finally been given an explanation and told that I will be unable to access the medicare service for my first 2 specialist appoints leaving me $400 out of pocket. Their solution? Make another appointment today and start the process again.
