Dr Tan Luu is an excellent doctor. I have been with him at is previous clinic. He is an honest man. Very experienced and would recommend people to book a long appointment to see him if you have complex medical issues.

I’ve been coming to this medical centre for years to see dr Prescila who is very qualified. However one time when dr Prescila wasn’t available I saw Dr Tan.nDr Tan is very unqualified.nAll he does is use his medical licence as wall decor and prescribes unnecessary drugs.nI had a gym injury and without examining me or completing an ultrasound he prescribed me valium.nHe was more interested in me ,a healthy 21 year old, using highly addictive opioids to “numb the injury” rather than fixing it through a medical investigation.nHe is lazy, unqualified and does not have his patients best interest in mind.nHe is more focused on solving small problems and “shutting the patient up” rather than doing his job.nPlease no one visit this doctor, he is arrogant and will not give you good advice.

I decided to come here as my regular doctor was on holidays and mind you I’ve been coming to this clinic on and off for over 10 years, all I can say is I regret every minute of it thanks to the new doctor there named Dr Tan Luu ! I had an appointment booked and still had to wait a good 30 minutes to be seen by this new doctor named Doctor Tan Luu and when it was finally my turn to see him he phoned the receptionist and which told me to walk down the hall and it’s the room on the right, anyway I knock on the door and come in and he doesn’t even apologise about keeping me waiting or about the fact that he couldn’t come and get me from the waiting room himself? No big deal.. so without even looking at me yet he just says “what can I do for you” and he’s typing on the computer and clicking the mouse, clearly doesn’t care about the patient or even cares about who’s sitting in front of him. Like would it hurt to look at your patient and be a little considerate? Anyway I told him I was after a script for an antibiotic due to a skin condition and he REFUSED to give me the script which didn’t make sense so I asked him why that is and that’s when all hell broke loose! He immediately got defensive, he stopped typing on the computer and turned his chair towards me and tried to intimidate me and said “I just met you and I won’t be prescribing you any medication as it’s the first time I meet you” I told him that I understood but he had my file right in front of him on the computer and I’ve been coming here since 2010 on and off and my skin condition and diagnosis and even the same script that I’ve been previously prescribed is clearly listed on the computer and he just continued to argue and then he started becoming rude. He began telling me disgusting things such as “I didn’t go to university for x amount of time for nothing, if you don’t like it you can go some where else, I don’t care what you say I’m not prescribing you anything, at the end of the day I’m the doctor and I decide, the doors open if you want to go” and he went on and on and on! Never in my life have I had such a negative experience with a doctor, I then went to the receptionist to complain to the manager only to be told that the “manager” which is also the owner of this place isn’t around and won’t be for another few days. I know that the owner won’t do anything to rectify the problem as clearly Dr Tan Luu is being paid the lowest wages a doctor can be paid considering he just graduated university and has just started his career path. This doctor doesn’t care about the patients of this clinic nor the reputation otherwise he would have a little bit of respect towards the patients that have been coming here for years. It’s a shame a newbie rude Doctor that truly thinks he is better then everyone in the clinic will be the reason this place will loose many patients that have been coming here for years.nnP.S I realised all the owner can post to the negative responses aren“ Hi, We take our customer service seriously. However we were unable to find your file or evidence of your visit to the Villawood Medical Centre.nCentre Management”ntherefore my response to that in advance is you won’t be able to find my file or evidence of my visit because I have not put my real name on my google account, also I find it hard to believe all the people that have posted their negative experiences you couldn’t find their file or evidence of the visit. How professional if that’s the way you handle the negative responses by making it out like they didn’t even come to your clinic in the first place!? Why don’t you actually try and rectify the problem? Ridiculous, starting to think this doctor clinic is around just for our money and genuinely don’t care about the poor service customers are experiencing. To be frank, the moment the new owners which are Indian purchased this Doctor Clinic from the previous owners that were Asian everything changed, the old owners were running this place so smoothly! Shame..

Not satisfied with my experience at Villawood Medical Centre and most importantly the doctor there Dr Tan Luu. Would you believe they tried charging me $2 for a face mask too? What sort of a money hungry medical center is this, never coming back here
