Dee Why General Practice

Thank you so much to Dr Nathan Smith, Jo on reception and all the team at Dee Why General practice for taking such good care of me this week. I came in needing stitches on my finger and feeling overwhelmed. I left feeling so well looked after - Dr Nathan was Amazing!! Jo got me a cup of tea and a jellybean afterwards, and everyone made sure I was ok to get home. Thank you all so so much!!

I have always had a great experience with Dee Why General Practice. The staff there are lovely and go out of their way to get you an appointment, and all the doctor's I've seen have been great. I get a sense that they care about their patients and have always been well looked after. Would highly recommend.

Tried to call on easter monday as needed antibiotics- went through to some weird booking centre, hung up after 30mins on hold, no wait times explained or anything, just the same recording over and over and over. Pathetic service.

Nice enough but the Admin systems always seem confused at this place, unsure of payments / appointments, need an update of their processing system and it would be a good place.

The reception staff at Dee Why GP are always lovely to interact with and go above and beyond to help out. Recently I was seeing my GP for a fractured ankle and the reception staff offered to ring around to all the x-ray places to find where I could be seen with the least amount of hassle for me. Numerous times in the past with sick children, or ill myself they have been so welcoming and helpful to make sure we are seen quickly and are comfortable.nThe nursing staff too have gone above and beyond on many occasions, chasing results, helping with children who are sick or injured or just need some cheering up. Their care and concern is always genuine and much appreciated.nThe Doctors at the practice are always amazing. Willing to listen, comfort and make sure we are looked after following up with phone calls and ensuring specialists can see us if needed.nHighly recommend this practice.
