Delmar Private Hospital

My sister and I had lens replacement day surgery at Delmar Private Hospital on Thursday. We cannot rate our experience highly enough, from the personable Customer service professional Pat in Reception/Admin to the wonderful attentive nurses, two of whose names we remembered, being Margie and Ingrid and ALL other nurses we met during the day. The whole surgical process at Delmar was one of total professionalism and excellence and being quite nervous patients, they made us feel at total ease throughout the whole day. I would not hesitate to recommend Delmar Private Hospital to anyone in the future and once again thank you all for making our surgery such a positive experience.

Worst hospital I have ever been to. All about the money. Reception lady so rude. Supposed to be a 5 star hospital. Food was horrible. Do not recommend to anyone. Nursing staff was okay but it was just not a nice place to be.

My partner met with an accident, in a state of an emergency, and there was not a soul to attend to us. An absolute joke of a hospital! You lot should be bloody ashamed of yourselves!!

Reception staff can be improved re early admissions although it might have been a problem because the main door was closed and I had to enter via a side door.nAs far as the nursing staff go, especially the nurse in the day admissions ward, the handling and service needs 10 stars plus. She went way above her duties to be kind, helpful and was so professional. I am not certain but I think her name was Michelle. I know her son was an orderly and he was exceptional as well taking me to the theater as I was very nervous and he was incredibly calming. I had a procedure one week later and I found exactly the same service from nursing ward, exceptional. Thank you all.

Spent two weeks here after hip replacement at NBH. As this was my first experience of any surgery and rehab, was not sure what to expect but staff were very friendly and helpful. Only downfall was not having an ensuite in my room.nI also did outpatient rehab here as well and praise all the physios there. Thank you Chris, Tristan and Moanna for all you help over 10 weeks.
