Cowra Japanese Garden and Cultural Centre

We went on the Canola Trail in Cowra and stopped by this Japanese garden. It is a beautiful and impressive garden to visit in spring. Be sure to check out the Cowra Peace Precinct next to it as well for the sea of purple and yellow flower field! It is magnificent!

Stunning in Spring, a joy to relax in and amble around. Beautifully and meticulously maintained by caring staff. The food in the Cafe is good and the staff are very friendly and understanding to ensure you visit is enjoyable. Feed the ducks or the fish, small charge for the food. A great place to reflect on a relaxing stay in Cowra.

Amazing place! Well worth a trip. My partner and I spent about an hour walking around the gardens. The pathways and plants are really well kept with becuatiful scenery. Loved the little ducks running around, and enjoyed the big fish in the ponds. Worth the small entry fee.

What can I say? The gardens are absolutely magnificent. Unfortunately due to covid the buggies were unavailable. We had our seniors scooters with us and used them. We took our 2 little dogs around the gardens, they enjoyed the walk. It takes about 1 to 2 hours to cover all the gardens at a leisurely walk. The cafe food was great and the girls were kept very busy.

Cute Japanese themed garden. We travelled from Canberra to visit the garden and nearby canola fields. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit. The staff at the centre had extensive covid precautions despite large number of visitors. Overall the trip was a good experience and an awesome weekend!!!
