St Ives Medical and Cosmetic Centre | Medical Service open till late

I took my 3 year old to this medical Centre because they’re open Sundays.nMy son had a cough and an infection in his eye. The doctor was super quick to write a prescription for antibiotics and tamiflu. I should have researched the prescribed medicine before I gave it to my child. The side effects of tamiflu are as follows: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hallucinations, nose bleeds, sleep problems, (seriously insomnia!) eye redness or discomfort. The list goes on!nWhy would a doctor prescribe dangerous medicine like this to infants?nI don’t recommend parents take their children to this center. If you must see a doctor there PLEASE RESEARCH THE PRESCRIBED MEDICINE BEFORE ADMINISTERING TO YOUR CHILD!

Pleasant Reception and Doctors. Large clinic with Hospital like facilities. Sutures done to perfection.

To be charged $90 for a repeat script is simply outrageous! This is unacceptable and will never return to this practice. If I could give it 0 stars it would be considered generous.

Do yourself a favour and stay away from this place. Overpriced and irresponsible. The GP doctor has no idea what he was doing at all. Kept giving me antibiotics (which did not help with my inflammation at all) until I went back the third time ASKING FOR A BLOOD TEST MYSELF. After the blood test result came out I had to go to see a specialist straight away. Charged me $95 for each visit and basically did nothing at all.

I have been seeing Doctor Suhas Mahajan at St Ives Medical Centre fir the past eight years.nI have found Dr Mahajan to be the absolute best in understanding your needs and giving practical and easy to understand care and advice.nI would highly recommend Doctor Mahajan to anyone in the St Ives area.nRodney Stevens
