Mona Vale Hospital

There is no 24/7 Covid testing centre for everyone at the hospital clinic as listed. It opens at 7:30am and closes at 5 pm, contrary to the notice below.

Hands Up all those who remember, the old hospital, that many, yip me to, I think at one stage we.ve all ended up here whether it be from mistaking eucalyptus oil for cough medicine, kidney stone, being knocked over by a truck, or other reasons such as rehab, and work, I know I did, I volunteered here before I did my last prac, It was a lovely place, the doctors and nurses made it so, years passed and the hospital closed, becoming a rehab centre, and a critical care centre, with a soon to open ambulance station, great we need one this end, anyway that's not the point of this review.nnit's about covid 19, the hospital is also a covid- testing centre- I saw the lines, no referral needed here I couldn't help but notice the looks of frustration, fear along with other emotions here, U will need a qr reader on Ur phone, so U can scan the code, if Ur unable to screen shot the last green box, tell the person in the ppe, and give them the last few details of the code that's on the screen, test results will be back by ten pm, that's the anxious part! Yes it's a long wait, and it's scary for every one, they swob your tonsils don't worry If U had them removed- they know the area, then the back of Ur throat tilt, Ur head back, as though Ur going to the dentist, they also do ur nose, U may feel a bit weird afterward the test but it will pass! For some it will make u sneeze.nnPlease wear a mask when on public transport even after Ur negative result, it's not only for your safety but those around u especially the front line workers, doctors, nurses,police, ambulance, firies, SES. wash your hands- sanitize them regularly and follow the directions given by the staff, council and police.nPlease stay safe and look after each other! No trolling on line either- there are laws against it- I don't know about U but I hate bullies- which is what a troll is!nnLet's show everyone just how awesome the beaches people really are, it's a beautiful part of Sydney and of Australia- won't be long till we are great again, keep Ur chin up and think positive! We will get through this!
