I went there some times to check up. By the way, suddenly, a staff and a student came to my room and check up my ultrasound monitor without notice before coming to the room that I was very embarrassed.nI think they do not care about patient privacy! POOR PUBLIC WORK CONDUCTING!!!nnAlso, the operation room staffs were not good that they came to my bed then touch my front and bottom without notice, especially male staff. At that time, my low body could not move as I had an epidural. After I realised I had to report to the man. DISGUSTING!nI would not have like this experience at the public hospital anymore.nnIf you have a private insurance, please have private medical service.

Waiting period is too long. Few doctors. Nearly waited 2 hr and more for my 24 weeks pregnancy visit. Felt so hungry, tired, irritated couldn’t eat out due to diabetes. More disappointment is people coming after me were sent first no clue why they do it. Have seen it frequently. First comes first should be organised as like in checking in counter to see a doctor too !! Looking forward for help !!

Following my first midwife appointment I booked a second appointment 2 months ahead for the 23rd of February. As that day came we arrived at the W&B Ambulatory care to find out that our appointment was canceled with no prior notice, they also did not book us in for that day with something suitable and without compensation.nn*Anyone going through public system skip the heart ache and stick to your local GP*nnA MESSAGE FOR RPA: Please put a system in place that sends an automated message with any changes to appointments.

Filled out the antenatal form early in December and was sent an email that my first midwife appointment would be at 16-18 weeks. I tried to call the antenatal ward to get recommendations for doctors who do shared care and I was on hold for 40 minutes the first time and the second time for over an hour then I just gave up.nnFound a doctor who is with the Royal in randwick by late December. I filled out the online form and contacted the Royal to ensure they had received my application. The antenatal ward was so easy to get a hold of! Between the doctor and midwife, several issues had been identified and I was referred onto their specialists promptly.nnI finally got a second email from the midwives at Rpa saying my first appointment would be in March, that's over 6 weeks too late. I complained about their service and the midwife responded by saying that due to covid-19 their phone lines are congested and because I'm out of their catchment area they can't see me sooner.nnReally? Firstly, covid-19 has affected every hospital not just Rpa. Secondly, they knew where I lived when I filled out the application and if a midwife could not see me at 16-18 weeks as promised then Rpa had a duty of care to notify me as soon as possible so I can find alternate care.nnI'm very disappointed in Rpa. They are inaccessible and show NO duty of care and I'm glad that I moved to the Royal in randwick
