Alfred Cardiology

This clinic has very poor communication. There are many points of breakdown, including the doctors and reception. This can be seen by the negative reviews previously. One of my many examples, and the straw that broke the camels back - made an appointment in January for procedures to be done in April. Receive a call 2 weeks prior to procedure (today) to be made aware that in August last year (4 months before I made an appointment, and 9 months from today) that there had been a policy change and these procedures are no longer covered under Medicare. I’ve waited 3 months for nothing. I now have to make an appointment with a different cardiologist and wait another 3 months. What atrocious communication and organisation

When calling up to confirm the specifics of my appointment the reception was curt.nThere was a mistake made by the RPA and so my appointment was cancelled which was an inconvenience for me as I had to take the day off work for the appointment and in my line of work which has been negatively effected by COVID, i then lose allot of money and have a family to support.nThe reception was boarder line patronising in tone and I understand that she then had to correct the mistake made by the RPA, so was an inconvenience to her, but it is a mistake made by the hospital, not me, the patient.nPlease remember when talking to patients you are dealing with people that have genuine worries and concerns for the health.nThank you

My father and I are patients of Prof. Keech. He is very friendly, respectful, caring, compassionate and professional. He goes out of his way to help. He never rushes a consultation and is always eager to continue appointments for review and monitoring health situations. A very convenient place with a Radiologist and other staff to perform various tests, ie, ECG, etc. Receptionists are very friendly, well mannered and professional. Prof. Keech never fails to deliver positive service.

dr Hatish Jangwal is professional, knowledgeable and caring. He is very considerate and understanding and explains complex things to you in a way that's easy to understand without making you feel like an idiot. We really appreciate all he's done for my dad and follow ups he does. He is not arrogant and is a gentle patient person, a refreshing breath of fresh air in his field. He also doesn't rush you and let's you ask lots of questions.

Receptionist, technicians and doctors were on time, kind and professional.
