This is a great place to shop for layout, range , freshness and price. The check out experience itself varies, the staff sometimes are friendly faces and other times you get some un -smiling creep who practically throws your food at you and snatches your money, leaving you to pack your own bags while they start jamming the next customers items on top of yours. I like Aldis products, store, and prices but the checkout/pack/self pack process is downright rude. It's a mixed bag and I have seen more than one person struggle at the checkout, even dropping items or an elderly person needing help and the staff just stare without moving, or ignore them altogether, fully aware but choosing not to help. I'd give 5 stars for the store and products and prices but only 1 star for the face to face checkout service. But it is what it is.
Love Aldi and all the specials and even a pretty good variety. The staff at the checkout were very helpful
