Kingsley's Chicken Queanbeyan

Good, not amazing, chicken joint. For the price and convenience, it hits the mark.nnI would NOT recommend the croquettes, if you've ever had decent ones.nnService was great, served quickly and with a smile.

Was recommended this place by the locals and tried one of their wraps in a meal deal with chips. It was tasty but I felt that the flavouring of the chicken had been over hyped.nnKingsley's has the feel of your typical charcoal chicken shop, but has better menu offerings and marketing. I may need to try more of their offerings but for now it seems to be just OK.

Never having heard of this place before but being told it's a Canberra institution, we thought we'd give it a try. I'm partial to tenders, so ordered a burger version with coleslaw, as well as some individual pieces, while the others' had fried chicken, pulled chook wrap and of course, the chips. Seems as though everyone else scored well, whilst whatever was inside the reasonably tasty, crispy coating, shouldn't be passed off as being chicken. It was a minced up, pretence of chicken and even the coleslaw couldn't save the burger.nnI had a taste of everything else and I can see why the place is well regarded but the tenders should just be left alone.

One of the best value and tastier fast foods in the Queanbeyan area. Its a small store but always has fresh chicken and chips. The managers are friendly, efficient and excellent at their jobs. As a single male, this definitely hits the regular weekly meal list for value, taste and a full feed at the $10 mark.nnIts rare I get any bad food and if it is, it still tops the average quality produced by the bigger competitors. Kingsleys Queanbeyan deserves its place in the fast food market and has earned themselves a regular customer.

We used to live in Canberra and drove straight here when we returned for the chicken and awesome chips!
