We got the dinner for two at lunch. Better sales tag would be ‘Meal for two’ more suitable for anytime of the day.nnThis pack included 2 pieces of fish, (beer battered, crumbed or grilled), 4 calamari rings, scoop of chips, 4 small garlic prawns x 2 mini containers of tartare sauce and a 1.25 bottle of drink - we choose the water for hydration on a scorching hot day.nnFriendly and fast service.nnGave 4 stars because I felt the fish and chips were a little over cooked. On the plus plus side. They are very generous with the chips and the pack itself was nearly presently we thought. So well done Captain Hook.nnOne suggestion... change the front door to a roller door to open up the shop and make it more inviting. A renovation would do the shop some good.

Wherever we travel around the globe, we always eat fish n chips.nBy far this was the best fish I've eaten!! A great selection of fresh local and non local fish, a choice or flavouring and it was all cooked so well and very well priced by the kg.nYou don't get alot of fish n chips places that do it this way, usually you just order what you want and they cook it.. Here you get to pick the fish. If 6ou like softer fish or meaty ones like me.. wow I have no words to describe. Captain Hook's have the best potato scallops if you just want a snack❣nBut, I think they have the best fish n chips this side of Surfers❣nThey also have a vegetarian burger which is delicious ud83dude0a

We got fresh prawns, fresh fish and chips for Good Friday - very enjoyable and would definitely recommend!
