Get Shucked Fresh Seafood Market

No doubt in my mind this shop sold the best fish n chips in the Tweed Coolangatta area. Why is this shop closed, they don't answer the phone, no notice on the door accept I see the building is up for lease? Damn shame....

First visit yesterday and decided on the spur of the moment to try them instead of our usual fish place. So glad that we did as the fish was the nicest crumbed flathead I have had - ever! Beautifully crumbed and not over oily. The fish itself was delicious and perfectly cooked. The chips were also fantastic and not super oily. A young guy served us and was friendly and courteous. We will definitely be back. Thanks :-)

We've eaten here a few times since it opened and its usually pretty good but our last visit was disappointing. We ordered a pack that had a couple of pieces of fish, some calamari, potato scallops and a couple of other things with it. The fish wasn't very nice or fresh and everything was over cooked. It has definitely gone down hill since our first visit, Hopefully this was just an off day after the busy Christmas new year season.

Was pretty impressed with crumbed COD, nice size and not oily. Calamari was a small portion for $8. Overall very happy. Glad we tried them. Lovely staff. Very convenient for us.

Similar to Scales but not at their level. The chips were fantastic which is normally a good indication for a takeaway but the rest was not too satisfying.nVery salty. Potato scallops tasted like the oil was burnt. And we could have used the left over oil to do a fry up at home.nTried them because they are new and we like to support small business but there are definitely better takeaways on the coast.
