Maddigan's Seafood

Maddigan's is the best. We had a beautiful dinner last night! We had a snapper pack. A cod pack. A calamari pack. Chicken burger and a large variety of snack items. Everything was cooked to perfection. The fish was so fresh. Crispy batter. I'd eat there every day if my personal trainer would let me......

Fish was nice and the tang of the lemon only improved it. The Chips were nice and soft but not to soggy....Just right. We’re also Ibis approved. Slight inconvenience was the 40cents for chicken salt and the over exaggerated portion size. Service was efficient and well organised and the food was great.

Great selection. Generous serving. Friendly service. Perhaps the crumb on the fish could be a little thinner. Would come back again

We had beautifully-grilled snapper and scallops from Maddigans a couple of days ago, and are still dreaming about it, so it's very surprising to read some of the recent very negative reviews here. Certainly not our experience and would definitely go back for more next time we're in Hervey Bay. recommend

We read that these are the best fish & chips in town, but. The fish was nice and crisp, but really brown. The potato scallops were definitely over cooked. The chips were fine. It was nice! But not great. Wait was long but we expected that.
